Caleb Joseph Banigan

Sorry it took to long to update the blog. Having four children doesn't leave much spare time.

Caleb's Birth Story.
On November 22nd, Jeremiah and I with my mom and Rachel went to the hospital at 8 PM to be induced. Nothing really happened after ten hours. At 6:05 AM my mid-wife Ann broke my water. I was dilated to 4 cm and forty-two minutes later Caleb Joseph was born.

The kids are adjusting well and Caleb is a wonderful addition to our family.

He was 7 lb 3.8 oz and 20 inches long.

The Whole Family Is Sick

After spending the whole morning and Doctors offices, we have the flu. Alex has strep, Elijah has croup and Maya as a high fever. Their doctors said they also have the flu and it is going to take a lot of time to get over their illnesses.
The good news is that the baby is doing fine and he is moving like mad. He hates it when I cough. I have new meds to help with my cough from my infection in my lungs last week.
Anyone what to come over and play with us?

Friday's Feature

I was pick to tell my life story on my ward blog and thought I would share it with you.

It is me Margie, and here is my story.
I was born on May 20 1980. My mom was scheduled for a c-section on May 27 but my mom's water broke and I came a week early. A little fact, the doctor who delivered me delivered my nephew 26 years later.
I was the youngest out of five. I have 3 sisters and 1 brother.1980
1985
I was born in Colorado and have lived here all my life but one great year when we moved to Florida. I loved it there. We went to a lot of great places there. We lived on the beach and went to Sea World and all the alligator farms.
Growing up I was a tomboy and was always on the go. I had a total of 8 broken bones, So I have broken both my legs, my right thumb 2 times, my left thumb 3 and my right pinky. My first one was when I was 2. My sister was on the tramp with me and she landed on my leg. I had a full leg cast. One day my day was working on the lawn mower and stepped inside to grab something and came back to me and I was pouring gas down my cast. So he had to put me in the bath tub and cut my cast off.
I tried to play sports then realized I sucked but I found out I loved to sing and act. I was in a group that sang the National Anthem for the Denver Nuggets. In high school, I was in color guard, choir and I was an athletic trainer. During my freshmen year I tried out for the honor mix choir and made it. I was the first freshman to have ever made it in. I also lettered my freshman year. I was in the top woman's choir for 3 years. I was in many plays and musicals. Have I told you I loved to act.
So after high school I worked in many different jobs from working with children, an auto store, to mall security. Yes I was a rent a cop!!
In 2000 I got married then shortly after got divorced. But I got the best thing out of that marriage. Alex. He was born September 7 2000 weighing in at 8 pounds 3 ounces and 19 inches.Alex and I started going to the singles ward and about 2 years of going there we meet the man that would change our lives.
Jeremiah and I got married on July 15 2003. And in 2004 Jeremiah and I were able to be sealed to Alex.

We had a little addition to our family on Febuary 29,2004. Elijah was born on Leap Day weighing 6 pounds 12 ounces and 17 inches. He made the news and the new paper. It was a very long day with interviewing. Then on July 28, 2006 our little princess came into the world. Maya was born at 6 pounds 4 ounce and 17 iches. Our lives have never been the same.
We lived in Lakewood house setting for my parents while they were on their mission. In March 2009 Jeremiah and I bought our first house in this great ward.
We are expeting our 4th baby in November. We still have no name for him. But we are very happy that he is coming to our family.

Jackie fixed Maya's hair

We went to see Jackie for help with Maya's mullet. Jackie cut about 4 inches off the back of Maya's hair. Maya doesn't look like my little baby any more.

She was making faces. I love this one.

Alex turned 9

Today my little boy turned 9. He has grown into a little man and is such a joy in my life. I love it when Alex runs up to me at school , gives me a hug and wraps his arm around my tummy. Then he asked "Mom my question is...?" He always wants to know what everything is and how it works. He loves doing math and art. Playing at recess is his favorite. Alex you are a blessing in my life and I thank Heavenly Father every day for you.

Alex and his 2 friends Matt and Jacob went with us to Argo Gold Mine Mill in Idaho Springs.Alex and Jacob love rocks and minerals. After walking though the mine the kids panned for gold.

Alex was tested for allergies on Thursday and found out all of the food allergies are gone!!!! So the first thing he wanted was chocolate. Then he got to eat Beaujo's Pizza for lunch today.
Friday Maya and I brought cupcakes to Alex's class. He ate chocolate of course!

First Day of School.

Well all my babies are in SCHOOL!
Alex started on Monday. I was not cool enough to take him to school, he had to go with the neighbor. He loves his class and has friends. He is very happy about getting a recorder this year. He seems so happy this year.

Elijah and Maya started today and did great! Elijah picked out is winter gear for the first day. He did great going in to class and listening to his teacher read my favorite story The Kissing Hand. He looked so big sitting with all the other kids. He got to eat 10 different fruits for snack because he counted that high.

When I dropped Maya off she started to play right away and yelled"Bye Mom!!" She didn't care at all that I was leaving. I picked her and her ran and gave me a great big hug. So she made up for not caring about me leaving. She was asleep by the time we got home from school.
