Our House

Well it is true we do have and own a house. I didn't want to get my hopes up and share with everyone until we closed. As of Friday, March 27, 2009 Jeremiah and I became home owners. The house is a ranch with unfinished basement. 3 bedrooms and 3 baths.
That is Jeremiah shoveling his 2nd driveway of the day.

Blizzard of 2009

This is our first good snow all winter. A BLIZZARD!!! It just happens to be 2 days before we move into our new house! (Pictures of the house will come on Friday or Monday)Alex is such a sweet boy. He is shoveling for his Dad to come home. Jeremiah left work at 1:00 pm and 30 minutes later he was about 5 miles away from his work. The boys built an other fort out of moving boxes.This was taking on Monday.

Just say no to crack

We had an inspection on one of the houses last night. Maya and Kylie found a bunch of toys in the back yard. One of the toys was a barbie chair. Maya decided to make it her chair! After many attempt Maya finally was able to sit on the chair with out falling. I think it was the crack that helped!!
Look really close and you can see the chair. It is silver between her feet.

Boxes, Boxes and more Boxes

Jackie and I got a great deal on boxes for our big moving day. 80 boxes for 35 dollars!!
(Jackie is getting married today so she is moving this weekend)
I put all of the boxes together for easy packing. The kids are loving playing in them.

No MORE Diapers!!

In the mist of packing and trying to find a place to move, Maya is potting training.
It seems all she needed was a potty partner. Tiffany and Emma came out for Time out for women. Saturday night we went to see a house and have dinner with the Atkinson family. Well little miss Emma is a year younger then Maya and all ready potty trained. Maya ware a pair of Emma's under ware and went with Emma to the potty. That was it, Maya loves it and hates diapers.

Finally we found 4 we like.

This weekend Stacey(my sister/ Realtor), Jeremiah, ALL 3 of the kids and I went looking for more houses.
Friday, I found a house that I liked better then the first house that didn't pass inspection.
Saturday, Jeremiah found a house in Parker. Everything is ready to move in and we would not have to put to much work into it.
Then we went to one house that we liked but now really like because the price went down by 30,000.00 dollars.
And then the last house is the same floor plane as an other house we really liked but this one is better. Jeremiah calls it Brunswick 2.0!
So as you can tell we have a good chance of moving out before my mom and dad get home on April 3.

Back to the drawing board.

I'm sad to say the the house did not pass the inspection. There was at least 30,000 dollars of foundation problems. So we are looking for house again.

The Sick Bug

Well our home as been sick for a month now. Elijah and Maya have strep. Elijah had little bumps all over his face and Maya's temp has been 103.4 for 24 hours. But after 24 hours of the antibiotics they are doing much better. Alex, Jeremiah and I have had colds.
We are on the mend and hope to be packed and moved before the end of the month. We have our house inspection today so we praying everything goes well.

My new kitchen theme

I went to Time Out For Women and there were these great flowers on the program and bags. So I'm going to incorporate them into my beautiful orange kitchen.

On step closer!

The bank accepted our offer on a house. We are hoping to close by the 15th but we have to have an inspection first. I fell in love with the house the moment I walked in to the 70's style house. It is great! It has the same appliances and carpet. So a little work but we are going to make this home ours. The house is open and has a wonderful back yard.
