Dinner with the Fitches and the Hebbs

Friday night we had the Fitches and the Hebbs over for dinner and games, Alex really enjoyed the Fitche's new baby Derek.

BUG BITES

Last night on our great walk, Alex got bit on both arms. After school his arms looked like they were broken from the swelling. Poor guy.

Picnic at the Stone House

For Family Home Evening, Jeremiah and I took Jackie's and our kids to the Stone House Park. We had a great time until the mosquitoes ate us alive. We walked about a mile around the ponds and creek. We stopped for some great pictures. I put some of my favorites on the blog. We had a great time.

Elijah's First day at Preschool

Elijah start preschool with Miss Patty Hale. Elijah loves going to school. He goes with a friend and they have a blast with Miss Patty.

Self Defense at Enrichment

Tonight we had an instructor from Alex's karate school come and teach Enrichment self defense class. I was the Ginnie Pig and had a blast doing it. I walked away knowing a lot more and hoping I never have to use it.

Alex Gets His Orange Belt!

Alex tested for his orange belt on Saturday. Grandma Banigan was able to go with me to watch Alex test. He did a great job. I'm so proud on how hard he worked.

OH MAYA

Friday between making, decorating a cake, and picking up kids in the rain. Maya pulled off her cast!! I took her to the doctor and he wanted to wait to see how she did over the weekend. Well on Monday I called because she was still babying her right arm. Maya got a new cast that is pink this time. She will have this one for two more weeks (if she keeps it on). The doctor put more of a bend in the cast and went higher up on the arm.

Carissa's Cake

Carissa had her 11th birthday party on Friday. I made her a spider girl cake. Her birthday is not until the 19th but she had 8 friends spend the night. I was just grateful that it was not at my house.

Elijah decided to try writing. Emilie and I would write a name on the paper and Elijah would look at the name and write it. He did a great job. Preschool starts on Friday!!

The Cleaning Ladies

Today my good friends Rachael and Jennifer came over for lunch and attacked my kitchen. Last week I found out I have to eat better with lots and lots of fiber or I'll have to have surgery. So Rachael and Jennifer are helping me do that. We cleaned out all the junk food and organized the kitchen. Thank you so much girls!!

Russia's Young Single Adult Conference and Visa's Trip

My Parents were in charge of the Young Single Adult Conference for there mission. The picture are so great that I thought everyone needed to see them.
My favorite is the picture of my Dad dancing with one of the young ladies. It bring me to tear every time I see it.

Alex started 2nd Grade

Well Alex stared 2nd grade with a toothless smile. He was so excited about going this year, he hardly slept at all. He has one of his best friends in class with him again. His teacher is a member in our ward and also in the primary.I think he is going to have a great year.

Tonight Alex, Maya and I went to the park with Grandma Atkinson, Alisa, Jen, Madison, Landon, Kennedy, McKinley,Morgan and Braylen. It was so fun seeing Gordon and Trisha's family.

We took Jen(Alisa's siter in-law), Morgan and Braylen to the Museum. We had fun watching a show in the planetarium and seeing the dinosours.

Alex sat in a chair while and a worker there had him cover his eye and spun him. He told Alex to uncover eyes when he wasn't spinning any more. Alex uncovered his eye while he was still spinning.
