Hello

It has been a while. Alex is doing a lot better. He went to school today, it has been almost a week. The real sad part is Alex had a 4 day weekend. That is how I know he was really sick.

I went to the doctor today and found out that I'm pregnant!!

Just kidding, I have bronchitis. I have been sick since Sunday and have gotten worse every day. Jeremiah is having his turn tomorrow with the doctor. Maya is getting better but Elijah is taking his time getting better. He hasn't gotten croup yet.(maybe that means he is finally grown out of it!!!)

On a good note we bought a new camera. It is a Kodak z812. Here is the only shot I have. We got sick and have not been able to buy batteries for it.

Poor Alex

Alex got sick on Wednesday with a virus in his lungs. He has breathing treatments every 4 hours to help loosen his lungs. He sounds a little bit better today so we are praying that he will start getting better soon.

Field Trip to the Zoo

Today I got to go with Alex's class to the zoo. We had a tour guide for the first part. The tour guides name was Mike and he was so informative. I asked more question then the kids. I would love to work there. The tour guide said that the zoo does not like to make the group larger then 8 but the 13 in the tour group were very good. I had only had 5 kids in my group and they were very good. I'm so grateful that I can do fun thing with school. Thank you to Alisa for watching Maya and Elijah. Big thanks to Jeremiah for working so hard so I can stay home.

The Best Day

Saturday was a great experience. I was able to be in the temple with all of my best friends. This was one of the best days of my life. Thanks Alisa and Tiffany for being my "good" friends.

Maya's check up

Maya had her 18 month check up today. Better late then never. She weights a whole 21 pounds and is 30 1/2 inches. Her doctor did care about her weight. She and gain a pound since her last appointment.

The Museum

Today we went to the history museum with Elijah's friends Oliver and Cason. We watch a movie "The Living Sea" in the Imax. Maya got scared only a couple times. The waves got big and loud. Then we saw so me dinsours and called it good. It was fun going for a short trip.

Story Time

While I was making lunch for the kids, I heard the sweetest thing. I heard "Swiper on swing. Swiper no swiping. Their were reading Dora books to each other. We went to the library yesterday and got some books. I have read them at lest four times to them. So it was nice to know they do listen to me when I'm reading.

Cookie Decorating

Tonight we decorated cookies. Carissa has been asking for while to decorate cookies. We had fun.

And the list goes on.

Elijah has had hives for 2 months now. I tried everything to help him but nothing was working. He went the allergy doctor today and found out that he all so has an allergy to peanuts. The doctor asked if he ate peanuts butter once or twice a week. I just laughed and told her he eats 2 or 3 peanut butter and jelly sandwiches a day. So we are hoping that this well clear he's pour skin.
I get my turn with the doctor next Monday. I hope I can finally know what is causing all of my breakouts. So we are still trying to find food that the whole family can eat. Wish us luck!

Alex's art work is up in the library

On Friday Alex came home with a note from the art teacher. It said that Alex had a piece of art at the Belmar library. I'm so proud of his talents.

The Mammoth Game

The game was great. The Mammoths won 11 to 8! Alisa really gets into these games. She is so fun to go with. Alex was not sure at first about yelling, ringing the cow bell or holding up the sign "GET IN THE BOX" when the other team got a penalty. He warmed up and got into it at the end of the game. he loved just having a Mom's night out. We had good time. The next morning was a little harder to wake up, but it was worth it.

We made it!

Well for the most part we are all feeling much better. Still on the tried side but doing better. I feel bad, some how we passed the stomach bug to Jackie. She got it on Tuesday and she's just hoping to make it to work tomorrow.
On a better note, Alex and I are going on a date. We are going to the Mammoth game with Alisa, Grandpa and Grandma Atkinson Alex loves watching the lacrosse team. I think he likes it because it's indoors and not cold. So hopefully Alisa will post some pictures for us. I'll tell you about the game in tomorrows blog.
